About Us

About Our Course

Our course is located 3 km South of the town of Boissevain, on HWY 10. The hills and ravines it sits on were carved by creeks that flow from the Turtle Mountains, where these superbly maintained 9 holes are layed.

From the Blue tees our course stretches to an 18 Hole total of par 72, 6580 yards and a slope of 136. The course traverses ponds, creeks and winds through the tree-lined fairways that lead to a wide range of fast, tiered, and angled greens. You will find blind tee-offs to a hill top fairway, raised greens where a carefully placed approach shot will be required, and shots which will require creativity and skill from all aspects of a golfers game. The progressive tee boxes offer help to golfers of all skill sets to enhance their overall experience by playing from a set of tees best suited to their abilities.

Our History

After purchasing the land the course sits on in 1960, volunteers removed stones, planted trees and fairway grass, and built orignal sand greens. Over two summers of work, the original course layout was complete, a clubhouse was built and ready to be open for golf in 1963. Since then grass greens were added in the 1970’s, trees grew to fill the beautiful tree-lined fairways you will find today.

In the summer of 2016, an expansion project which changed the course from a 2702 yard, Par 33 course, into the current 3290 yard, par 36 found today was unveiled. the new changes saw Hole 2 stretched out 150 yards from the original designed par 4 into a par 5. A new par 3 3rd hole was added, a 187 yard carry over a ravine to large, raised, 2-tier green. The final new hole is hole 4 which is a 533 yard par 5 with a tee-off which must carry nearly 100 yards of brush. The new fairway was molded into a curved, uphill, dogleg right, across the ground which held the original designed 3rd and 4th holes, to the orignal 4th green.
